Help Desk Technician
We are looking for a professional, Help Desk Technician who wants to be part of a growing managed services company in the Seattle area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide remote technical assistance over the phone, chat or remote sessions
  • Support end-user operating systems and miscellaneous software applications
  • Support end-user computing platforms, mobile devices, printing and miscellaneous hardware
  • Research and troubleshoot end-user issues and provide documented solutions to those issues
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for the issue at hand
  • Respond promptly to phone calls and email alerts
  • Respond to Help Desk tickets and telephone call requests for technical support
  • Handle and resolve basic issues via phone support
  • Consult with higher level technical support to determine resolution, or transfer unresolved issues to Level 2 or a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Create, update, and resolve all issues within the issue tracking system
  • Configure, and support desktops, laptops, and miscellaneous devices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer Science degree a huge plus
  • At least 1 year of experience
  • Technical troubleshooting ability
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have personal transportation to drive to client locations
  • Office product knowledge
  • Microsoft certification a huge plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a commitment toward customer service
  • Minimum knowledge of technology and a basic understanding of supported products; covers installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and current Microsoft Office versions
  • Knowledge of common network products and LAN/WAN hardware administration
  • Ability to assess and respond to urgent issues in a competent manor
  • Ability and desire toward learning company’s technology, support policies, and methods; ability and desire toward learning new technologies and maintaining industry standards
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collaborate and solve problems
  • Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
  • Able to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with co-workers, clients, members, providers, and customers
  • Able to lift and carry up to 45lbs
